Former Cincinnati Bengals wideout Chad Johnson is known for his majestic route running and electric personality, as well as his generosity.

Johnson often shares images of his philanthropy and did so again Saturday during his first trip to Knoxville, Tennessee.

The 44-year-old was accompanying his daughter, Cha’iel, on an official visit to the University of Tennessee.

Cha’iel is a high school track star currently in her senior year. She is the reigning two-time 800 meter Florida state champion.

Johnson dined at an IHOP in Knoxville, tweeting an image of his $14 bill with a $1,000 tip left on the receipt.

The six-time Pro Bowler left a note which said ‘it’s my first time in the ‘Ville, going to the game tonight but I don’t know the Rocky Top song.’

Cincinnati’s cult hero also tweeted out two other bills across the three-day period in which he left $1,000 tips.

Johnson left the large sum on $27.37 and $341.00 bills for the two days prior, with an ‘I love you’ note accompanied on them.

The tweets of each receipt were accompanied by the caption citing Bible verse ‘Proverbs 11:25.’

The passage reads: ‘A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.’
