Even though there’s a ton of joy to be found in the ‘proper’ golf titles on the market, the real fun comes about via Golf With Your Friends. It’s that game which has today received another new update, bringing about enhanced modes in the new Sports Update.
We love Team17’s Golf With Your Friends. From the original base game which dropped in 2020, to the additional extras that came about through the likes of the Bouncy Castle Course, it’s a game which has been able to provide a ton of hours of putting enjoyment. But it’s looking better still with the latest update.
The Sports Update is rolling out today – right about now – to Golf With Your Friends on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC, letting you harness the horizontal power of the Hockey puck and the three- point madness of the hoops in Dunk mode.
Firing up the game with the update installed should be all you need to do in order to discover the new Hockey and Basketball additions, whilst a further Sports Cosmetic Pack for €1.99/£1.69/$1.99 will let you shoot for the fairways in style.
Seeing as there are currently a couple of big discounts kicking around on the base game – 67% off on Steam, 75% off on the Xbox Store – it all makes Golf With Your Friends and the new Sports Update a bit of a no-brainer. Even more is the fact it’s on Game Pass.
