The Class B girls’ golf season is officially underway, as five teams participated in the Central McLean Invite on Tuesday. Among those teams was Nedrose, who took first place in the invite. In addition to Nedrose, the host team Central McLean, Rugby, Bottineau, and Velva all competed with four golfers from each team.
Nedrose finished in first place with an overall score of 403. Trailing Nedrose were Rugby (416), Bottineau (425), Velva (433), and Central McLean (547) to round out all the finishes from the afternoon of action.
On the individual scores from the day, Libby Dulmage from Rugby took the top spot, shooting an 83. In addition to being the top team, Nedrose had two girls finish in the top three and one more finish in the top ten overall.
In order behind Dulmage was Meadow Roberts (Nedrose), 85; Leah Conway (Nedrose), 93; Coryssa Behles (Garrison), 99; Ava Thorenson (Bottineau), 100; Ellee Rybchinski (Bottineau), 101; Marly Santjer (Rugby), 102; Sydnie Diffely (Central McLean), 102; Hannah Conway (Nedrose), 103; Grace Balas (Velva), 105; Abbey Peterson (Velva), 106; Cienna Clemens (Velva), 107; Macy Bryans (Westhope-Newburg), 108; Naomi Seykora (Bottineau), 110; and Katie Moen (Bottineau), 114.
The girls will be back in action on Friday, as they head to Rolla for another invite.
