NBA Legend Shares An Important LeBron James Fact

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has done a lot during his 19 seasons in the NBA and his 37 years of life.

But he is on the verge of claiming his biggest milestone yet.

There is very little doubt that James will surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the upcoming 2022-23 season and become the all-time points leader in the history of the NBA.

When that happens, James will go down as a player unlike any other, achieving a feat that is literally game-changing.

Detroit Pistons legend Isiah Thomas gave his opinion on the record, saying, “He will be the all time leader in points scored @nba and he has never been viewed as a score first player @KingJames.”

Some people are arguing that James is actually a “score first player” but that doesn’t take away from the fact that James is about to change NBA history.

The Champ

Even before overtaking Abdul-Jabbar’s record, James was seen as one of the best to ever play the game.

He’s a four-time champion, 18-time All-Star, four-time MVP, and six-time All-Defense.

The fact that he is going to surpass Abdul-Jabbar in the upcoming season is a huge accomplishment and no one can deny that.

He will be entering his 20th season as the most valuable player on his team and still one of the top ten players in the league.

That’s really hard to do, especially when you’re 37.

If James continues to average more than 30 points a game in the new season, he will move past Abdul-Jabbar within just a few months.

You can say what you want about his on-court personality or his greatness, but you cannot say that James did not earn this honor.
