The NBA injury report for Christmas Day 2022 has a lot of star players. With five games of hoops on Sunday night, basketball fans are hoping that many of their favorite players will suit up and play.
Unfortunately, several superstars have already been ruled out. Andrew Wiggins and Steph Curry won’t play for the Golden State Warriors, but LeBron James and Zion Williamson are questionable.
Let’s take a look at the NBA injury report for December 25 and see who might be sidelined for the Christmas Day matchups.
LeBron James is once again on the NBA injury report
LeBron James has dealt with ankle issues and is a game-time decision for the Christmas Day matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. The Los Angeles Lakers are 13-19 so far this season and have lost three straight games.
James, who will turn 38 in just a few more days, is still the best player on the team. He needs fewer than 700 points to surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, so we can expect him to suit up.
After going 3-7 in their last 10 games, the Suns desperately need to win. Unfortunately, they will be without at least three more players, including Cameron Payne and Cameron Johnson.
When it comes to the Nuggets, Jamal Murray and Zeke Nnaji are both game-time decisions. The team will be without Jeff Green and Collin Gillespie.
Golden State Warriors decimated by injuries, Khris Middleton doubtful for Milwaukee
The NBA injury report has a lot of Warriors on it. Steph Curry, Andrew Wiggins, Andre Iguodala and JaMychal Green will all miss the Christmas Day matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies, while Draymond Green is questionable.
