The NBA has seen its fair share of superstars in its 75-year history. While the league may have seen a plethora of star talents, only some are talented enough to make the All-Time starting five list. These superstars are generally the talisman of their team, often ending up with multiple MVP trophies and accolades in general.
Recently Golden State Warriors Draymond Green revealed his All-time starting five. Containing the likes of Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, and Shaquille O’Neal, it is safe to say that the team is stacked.
Recently, multiple fans reacted to the team put up by Draymond Green.
“There is no team you can put together that can beat this one”
“A lot of y’all are saying put Kobe in there dawg y’all don’t see Jordan right there why would I need Kobe in if Jordan is in they both play a similar game!
“Kobe over LeBron”
“Magic and Kareem over Steph and Shaq”
“Vs Magic, Kobe, Larry, Dirk, Kareem”
“Karl Malone to replace Duncan”
“Best player at each position seems like the obvious pick”
“Give me The Dream instead of Shaq…..2000-2003 SHAQ was DIFFERENT…..got lazy”
“KD disagrees”
“I’ll give Duncan for Dirk and MJ for Kobe”
“This is so solid and beyond being a dubs fan this is why I respect dray soooo much”
“I would have Lebron at the point and KD at the 3. Curry can’t guard anyone when it comes to games like this.”
“Hard to argue with this team”
“Nuff said…no mamba no list”
“Nah I don’t take Duncan out put Kobe”
This team certainly has it all. With Curry, the team has a much-needed volume shooter who is probably the best three-point shooter the league has ever seen. With LeBron, the team has a small forward who is an incredible all-around talent and can act as the primary playmaker for the team.
With Jordan, the team has lockdown defense for multiple positions and perhaps the most talented scorer the league has ever seen. With Duncan, the team has a forward who provides rebounding, defense, and much-needed shot-blocking.
And to finally round off, Shaq provides incredible traditional scoring and a dominant scoring center. While fans might chip in with a change or two, in their prime, defeating this team might be next to impossible. What is your ideal starting 5?
