One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Tuesday is Bucks wing Pat Connaughton, who is listed at $4,500 on DraftKings and $5,100 on FanDuel. The eighth-year NBA veteran enters the night averaging 8.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game over 24.8 minutes a night and is shooting 35.8% from the 3-point line. But he’s been playing significantly better since entering the starting lineup at Christmas.
As a starter, Connaughton is averaging 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 39.5% from beyond the arc, and over his last eight games, he’s shooting 51.0% from deep while averaging 11.5 points and 7.4 rebounds. Now he’ll take on a Hornets defense that has allowed opponents to shoot 38.3% from the 3-point line and average 14 made 3-pointers per game since the start of 2023.
Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes stacking Connaughton with forward Giannis Antetokounmpo ($12,000 on DraftKings and $12,200 on FanDuel).
