2K is one of the best-known sports simulator developers. Each annual installation in the NBA 2K saga reaches millions of gamers worldwide.
NBA 2K23 is the most recent installment in the franchise. However, previous games like NBA 2K22 and even 2K21 still maintain a large and solid player base.
But, currently many NBA 2K21 players are unable to access MyCareer (Career mode) and other game modes due to servers being down or not working.
NBA 2K21 servers down or not working
According to multiple reports, NBA 2K21 players cannot connect to the game servers. This has been preventing access to multiple game modes and features for over 24 hours.
Is 2K21 PC server down? I can’t connect to the server
When I boot the game up, after I close the 2k23 ad the “connect” menu option appears, if I select it it resets the menu, the 2k23 ad appears again and I still have the “connect” and can’t play online. No error codes, nothing.

Ok, I’m so confused. Why is 2k21 suddenly not letting me connect online? I think someone had the same issue as well but I was online around an hour ago but when I hopped on, it suddenly decided not to let me connect.

I have NBA 2k21 and my career won’t come up. It just keeps saying you must be online which I am. Anyone’s help would be appreciated

2k21 Myteam stopped working. PLEASE HELP.
I am not allowed to go online at all. Once I hit “Connect” it acts like it’s connected then the advertisement screen for the next year comes up. I press O to dismiss the screen to go and play. When I press O to dismiss it brings up the “Connect” tab AGAIN!!

Issue being looked into
It’s worth pointing out that 2K usually shuts down the online servers for their sports simulators after 2 years of launch.
However, the issue does not appear to be related to this, since the NBA 2K21 server shutdown will occur by the end of the year:
