Mud Hens call up Tigers top prospect

The Toledo Mud Hens got a boost in the lineup as the Detroit Tigers No. 1 prospect, third baseman Colt Keith, got called up from Double-A Lake Erie.

While the Mud Hens haven’t been the hottest, Keith has been one of the hottest bats in the minor leagues. Since getting promoted to Triple-A, Keith is 7-of-13 with two monster home runs.

Toledo is hosting the Louisville Bats (Cincinnati Reds) this week.
