At 9 am, more than 900 ‘Three’ customers from throughout the UK turned to the website to complain about their inability to make calls. Customers complained about their mobile phones 82% of the time, phone signals 14% of the time and mobile internet 4% of the time.
A ‘Three’ spokeswoman stated, “A handful of customers may be experiencing difficulty with phone calls”, “and we apologize to anyone, who may be impacted”.
“The problem is now being investigated, and we aim to have it entirely repaired within the next few hours”. “In the meantime, users can restart their device to see if it fixes the problem faster”.
Users have expressed their dissatisfaction online, with one tweeting: “Restarting did not work”. “I’m still unable to make calls. Why are Wi-Fi calls also not working”?
Three’s spokesperson said that the company is aware of the issue and is trying to resolve it. This is not the first time the network has encountered issues. More than 3,000 subscribers reported being unable to text, make phone calls, or access the internet earlier this year owing to a massive signal outage.
