The biggest question on the minds of New York Yankees fans and management these days is: will Aaron Judge return to play for the Bronx Bombers? Judge is about to be an unrestricted free agent, so he can sign with any team he wants.
After having a historic season with 62 home runs and surpassed Roger Maris‘ mythical mark, Judge was booed in the Playoffsparticularly in the ALCS, because of his offensive production was almost zero.

“The fact that they booed Aaron Judge? If I’m him, I’d send them to hell and say ‘I’m not coming back here,'” Arrieta said. “If you want to boo me after what I just did for you guys, I’m going to the Mets.
“You don’t have to boo the guy. Cheer for him when he’s in trouble, help boost him up a little bit. Cut the crap, man. If I’m Judge, I sign somewhere else,” he added.

The decision is in Judge’s hands
In Playoffs, Judge batted a paltry .139, with 2 HR and 3 RBI. That almost non-existent offensive production generated loud boos from fans. The Yankees were swept 4-0 in the ALCS by the Houston Astroswho now plays the World Series against Philadelphia.
The booing for the Yankees’ number 99 began in the ALDSwhen Judge began to drop his hit production, but since the team won and made it to the championship seriesit had no major repercussions.
At the moment, there are several teams that are strongly considering signing Judgeamong them Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants. The Yankees are willing to retain him and pay him whatever he wants, pocket the final decision will be up to him.
