After getting their Hokie passports and becoming official Tech students, the players began moving into their new home-away-from-home, the Creativity and Innovation District Living-Learning Program Residence Hall.
Arriving at the campus renowned by many, the student-athletes felt right at home, and even Tech’s assistant coaches and support staff paid a visit to make sure their new players were getting settled in.
“I’m really excited to be here,” freshman offensive lineman Lance Williams said. “I can’t wait to get to work.”

“We’re home and ready to get to work,” freshman wide receiver Marcell Baylor said.
After a long day of moving in and information sessions, the student-athletes and their families will get to unwind with a dinner tonight in Blacksburg. The players will be able to have a meal with their brand-new teammates and coaches, a new norm for them as they enter the beginning of 2023.
Earlier this week, the ACC announced that the league will release its 2023 schedule on Monday, Jan. 30. Join the interest list and be the first to know when the Hokies’ fall slate is finalized.
