Who is starting for the Mets?

Taylor Megill is looking to bounce back from a rough outing his last time out. The big right-hander lasted just four innings and allowed four runs on ten hits while walking two and striking out three.

It was the second start in a row, and the fourth time this year, Megill’s failed to pitch five full innings. He now has a 4.63 ERA, 1.59 WHIP, and 43 strikeouts on the season.

Megill has faced the Blue Jays once in his career. He allowed just two hits and struck out five across six shutout innings to earn his first career win last season.

Who is starting for the Blue Jays?

Jose Berrios takes the ball for the Blue Jays this afternoon. After struggling last season, the righty has been pitching much better of late.

Berrios is 5-4 with a 3.86 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and 62 strikeouts this season. He threw 5.2 scoreless innings his last time out against the Twins, but did issue five walks.

Berrios has faced the Mets once in his career, back in his rookie season with Minnesota, and he allowed two runs on four hits over four innings.
