Christmas 17—LIMA — A local family is taking their love of golf and using it to bring a new golfing experience to Lima. Mike Cass and Dave Cass alongside Paul and Amanda Slygh have just opened Four Seasons Tees. The golfing simulator encourages community members to have fun and learn more about golf.
“We have a Uneekor program, the E6 program and the GSPRO program,” said Cass. “We have around 500 different golf courses to choose from.”
The owners utilize programs to bring hundreds of courses worldwide to Lima’s backyard.
“Just like on a golf course; you tee it up with a ball and smack it,” said Cass. “The screen absorbs all the impact, it won’t hit the wall and bounce back at you. It will usually just bounce. We have our own tees that we use.”
The family was inspired by their own personal history of golfing.
“My uncle [Mike’s father] was a licensed professional [golfer],” said co-owner Paul Slygh. “He has managed golf courses and owned his own shop. We went out and played, starting talking about it and here we all are.”
The experience is not only for a fun time but for those hoping to learn more about golfing. Slygh said private lessons will be held on the weekends per request. The Four Seasons Tees will also be open for private gatherings.
“The best way to describe it is like an indoor golf experience,” said Slygh. “You can be in Ohio on a golf course or all over the world. [The simulator] has golf courses in Florida, Hawaii, Alaska and Montana.”
The company will host a grand opening from 9 am to 9 pm July 29. Food and giveaways will be available from 1 pm to 3 pm
Four Seasons Tees is now open seven days a week from 9 am to 9 pm The golf experience is located at 1214 W. Robb Ave. For more information contact the owners at 567-712-2040 or by email at [email protected].
