LG has announced pricing and availability for the Gram 17Z90R, the successor to last year’s Gram 17Z90Q and the company’s latest 17-inch laptop. Currently, LG is only offering the Gram 17 (2023) in the US; the company tends to take a few months before it brings laptops to other markets like the Eurozone and the UK. For reference, LG debuted the Gram 17 (2023) at CES 2023 alongside new 14-inch, 15-inch and 16-inch models.
The Gram 17 (2023) is available in two configurations at launch, both with the Intel Core i7-1360P and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050. Unfortunately, LG has not confirmed the latter’s power consumption (TGP), which varies between 35 W and 80 W The Gram 17 (2023) also has a 2,560 x 1,600-pixel panel that covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space and has a 144 Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, all Gram 17 (2023) configurations have a 90 Wh battery, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM. The Gram 17 (2023) starts at US$1,999.99 at launch, for which LG includes 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Alternatively, the machine can be picked up for US$2,299.99 and 32 GB of RAM. Please note that while the Gram 17 (2023) supports upgradeable storage with M.2 2280 drives, it has soldered and not user-upgradeable RAM. Please see LG’s website for more details.
