The latest IdeaCentre variant to be introduced for the CES 2023 event by Lenovo might be known as the Mini (or 01IRH8), yet is touted to bring the maximum amount of impact to the content creation or consumption needs of the modern home.
To this end, it has launched with the choice of a Core i5-13500H to an i7-13700H, which provides Thunderbolt 4 on its rear-facing USB type-C port. It is located alongside the Mini’s DisplayPort 1.4b and HDMI 2.1 ports, and is thereby prepared for multiple monitor set-ups.
All this is found in a 1-liter chassis (as the name suggests) that could be hidden away anywhere; nevertheless, Lenovo also asserts that the Wi-Fi 6 and up to Bluetooth 5.2 mini-PC would have pride of place in any modem home thanks to its new Cloud Gray fabric-textured finish.
The Lenovo IdeaCentre Mini (1L, 8) comes in 8 to 16GB RAM SKUs with 256GB, 513GB or 1TB SSDs, although the PC can be opened to swap those components out. It is slated to become available from July 2023, starting at €599 (~US$635).

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
