Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has officially become the first player to score 40 points against every NBA franchise.
After ticking off the Houston Rockets with 48 points last Tuesday (AEDT), James only had the Los Angeles Clippers remaining on his checklist.
While the Lakers went down to their local rivals 133-115 on Wednesday (AEDT), James starred for the purple and gold as he helped himself to 46 points on 16/29 shooting.

Having played for the Cavaliers, Heat and Lakers throughout his career, James has scored 40 points against every single franchise, with the late Kobe Bryant the only other player to score 40 or more against every team he played against.
Bryant though did have one team remaining off his list being the Los Angeles Lakers as he spent his entire 20-year NBA career with the franchise.
With one milestone ticked off, James next has become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer in his sights as he sits less than 200 points behind current leader Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on 38,387.
