Layton’s Mobile Tires offers school uniform vouchers to Winchester to combat the cost of living crisis

A MOBILE tire company based in Winchester has launched a ‘School Uniform on Us’ promotion, offering vouchers for school uniform with tire purchases.

Families are feeling the financial burden due to rising prices so one business, based in Colden Common, is doing what they can to help lessen the economic blow.

Layton’s Mobile Tires announced on Facebook that it will be supplying school uniform vouchers with certain Falken tire purchases throughout August.

The tire dealer and repair shop – that covers Winchester and surrounding areas – is providing £15 for two tires and £30 for four tires to use towards school uniform.

Company owner Tom Layton chose the promotion as he thought it would be more useful than the ordinary monthly discount vouchers they offer.

Tom, 35 said: “Having young kids myself we all know how expensive school uniforms can be and the promotion has received quite a lot of love already.

“With the rising costs of everything I’ve noticed that some people who need tires, aren’t doing so or are only buying the minimum because other costs like school uniform take priority.

“So, this is helping people get more of what they need because the way things are going it doesn’t look like the crisis is going to get any better which is quite worrying.”

The tire fitter from Eastleigh is hoping the promotion will help families who are feeling the pinch amid the economic crisis.

The offer applies to online purchases for Falken Tires using the valid discount code SCHOOLFA.
