Lana Del Rey New Album 2022 Coming Soon Amid Stolen Laptop, Music

Lana Del Rey just announced that new details for her upcoming new album would be due next week, Nov. 7, 2022.

Speaking to Hello TV during the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai Disco Ball in California, the “Norman Fucking Rockwell” songstress revealed a rather intriguing tidbit about her new album.

“I won’t tell you when it’s coming out, but I can tell you I’m making an announcement about it on the 7th, so what do we have a week? Seven days? I’m very excited,” she said in a now-viral snippet of an interview.

Fans quickly reacted upon hearing the news, expressing their excitement on Twitter. “OMG, THIS ALBUM IS GONNA BE ACTUALLY PROMOTED AHH,” a fan tweeted.

“thank you for giving me something to look forward to Lana,” another shared.

However, some are hesitant in taking in her announcement. These fans warned other fans not to get high hopes as the singer had the tendency to prolong the time period that her fans waited.

“expecting announcement on 7th of december 2023,” a user said. “I just know she’s going to forget that like never happened,” another pointed out.

Coincidentally, Lana Del Rey’s new album announcement coincides with the blacking out of her official website. Check out Lana Del Rey’s official website.

The move comes months after Del Rey’s personal belongings were stolen from her car, including her laptop, camera, and other personal valuables that contained music and other materials that were essential for her to get her music career going.

“Please don’t listen to the music if you hear it because it’s not coming out yet. And in terms of the book, I loved the book that I lost with all of my heart and put a lot of passion into it. And in terms of the camcorders, we shall see what happens with that,” Del Rey opened up in an Instagram live.

According to Billboard, Lana was not able to save a backup copy of the material she had on the hard drive or even the stolen 200-page manuscript she did – causing her to start over again.

However, the “Snow on the Beach” collaborator further revealed that she had already erased the contents of her laptop remotely; sharing that she had been noticing that some of the songs she had on the laptop had been released online.

She then appealed to her loyal fans not to listen to the material yet until the actual official release of the record.

It is uncertain if the material that she would be releasing soon would be the same material stolen from her months ago, or if she ever retrieved it.
