LA Lakers’ LeBron James vs Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic on Christmas Day

The 2022 Christmas Day slate is full of action-packed matchups with one of the biggest of the night coming when the Dallas Mavericks will travel to Los Angeles to face the Los Angeles Lakers. The Mavericks have 3-time All-NBA First Team guard Luka Dončić at the helm, who was chosen as the preseason MVP favorite by NBA General Managers.

This Christmas matchup might witness LeBron James cross another historic milestone in his 20th NBA season, as LeBron is poised to become the player with the most Christmas Day games in league history. With a win, he will also become the leader in all-time wins on Christmas Day, surpassing former teammate Dwyane Wade, whom he is tied with at 10 wins. James already leads the Christmas Day games in points (422), field goals made (150), and three-pointers made (28). The Lakers are making their 24th straight appearance on Christmas Day.
