Jordan Poole of the Golden State Warriors had quite a great season.

The guard put up 18.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4 assists a game.

He also saw himself start in more games than ever before.

Of course, Poole also got his first championship ring as the Warriors took down the Boston Celtics to win the NBA Finals.

All in all, it was a season to remember for Poole.

But one of Poole’s biggest honors was just revealed weeks after the season concluded.

The NBA granted Poole the top honors for the year’s best handles.

To show what they were talking about, the league provided a clip of Poole weaving his way through opponents and cutting past the defense like a knife through warm butter.

Again and again, Poole has shown he is on a whole other level.

There is no doubt that he is becoming one of the most valuable players on the league’s most valuable team.

Poole Party

Poole’s point output has more than doubled since he first joined the Warriors back in the 2019-20 season.

He’s gone from 8.8 points a game to 18.5.

Meanwhile, head coach Steve Kerr has gained more faith in the young man, increasing his time on the floor from 22.4 minutes a game to 30.

Poole has been given more responsibilities and he’s been succeeding at every opportunity.

He is in a bit of a tricky spot because he plays so much like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

How does someone like Poole carve out a path for himself and show his worth when he’s playing alongside two of the best guards to ever do it?

It isn’t easy but Poole is earning his keep with the Warriors.
