The NBA has been undergoing something of an offensive renaissance this season, with a ton of 50-point games one can point to as evidence of the scoring explosion that has been one of the hallmark qualities of 2022-23.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Devin Booker, Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, Luka Doncic, and Joel Embiid are not exactly huge surprises to have had such games, but (respectfully) was anyone expecting a 50-piece from guys like Darius Garland, Jrue Holiday, or Julius Randle? Damian Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, Pascal Siakam, and Klay Thompson also dropped 50-burgers this season, as did star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum.
As fans of the Celtics (why else would you be here?), however, we’re sure you’re most interested in the Duke alum’s 50-piece this season, which the NBA has included in a compilation of all such outings from the Association’s 022-23 campaign.
