Jaylen Brown links up with rapper Napoleon at his Saudi Arabian BBQ restaurant

Boston Celtics All-NBA forward Jaylen Brown is in Saudi Arabia visiting rapper Napoleon’s BBQ restaurant Smokey Beards Q, according to an Instagram post by the former member of the group Outlawz. This comes just a few days removed from Brown’s trip to Paris Fashion Week, where he rubbed elbows with celebrities like Formula One superstar Louis Hamilton.

Mutah Beale, who raps under the name Napoleon and first started his career alongside the late Tupac Shakur, was born in New Jersey but has since moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. What started as a small coffee venture has led to a new spirit of entrepreneurship. A few years later, Napoleon opened his newest venture, Smokey Beards Q, a Texas-style BBQ smokehouse.

This isn’t Brown’s first big international tour. He’s made a habit of traveling the world during the NBA’s offseason, including to the Middle East. Dedicated fans of the Celtics will remember Brown’s trip to Egypt, which gave birth to the meme “Desert Jaylen”.
