‘It’s Almost Ready for Release’

It appears development for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is moving at a rapid pace.

The 1.3.0 alpha test server for Project Aurora, aka Warzone Mobile, apparently went live Thursday and according to those online who’ve tried it out, it appears the game is really starting to come along.

As tweeted recently by the leaker @samleakshereWarzone Mobile seems to have been updated just about everything across the board, from graphics to performance and features.

One such addition is a loadout system, which, as seen in what appears to be a screenshot from the test, looks almost exactly like the flagship Warzone UI.

Players who tried out the latest version of the game also pointed out that it seems to have brought over the faster-paced Blitz Royale game mode from the original.

Perhaps the most intriguing leak is footage shared by @samleakshere on what appears to be a new intro cinematic for Warzone Mobile.

As shown in the clip, the cutscene appears to be nearly identical to what players on console and PC have long been familiar with even in Season 4 Reloaded.

The alpha test action is taking place in a mobile version of Verdansk, although it still appears to be uncertain as to whether or not Activision plans to use the OG map in the final product.

Sadly, Activision has yet to reveal a timeline for when we can expect the Warzone Mobile to launch, nor what its plans are for the Call of Duty: Mobile Battle Royale community after its release. Ass suggested by those most plugged into the title, it appears it could launch around the same time as Warzone 2.0 later this year.
