Amazon is running several discounts on NUC 11 mini-PCs, all equipped with the Core i5-1135G7 processor. For reference, the Core i5-1135G7 is a Tiger Lake-UP3 series part with a 28 W TDP and four CPU cores that can boost to 4.2 GHz when needed. A 10 nm processor, the Core i5-1135G7 also has an Iris Xe Graphics G7 iGPU with 80 Execution Units.
Incidentally, the Core i5-1135G7 has the same iGPU as its effective successor, the Core i5-1240P. According to our database, the Core i5-1135G7 trails its successor by 20% in benchmarks. However, Amazon’s discounts make the NUC 11 roughly 40% cheaper as a barebones unit than an equivalent NUC 12. Currently, Amazon has discounted three NUC11 configurations, with discounts ranging from 19% to 33%, depending on the model chosen.
As it stands, the barebones NUC 11 has received the least discount, with a 19% reduction taking it from US$514 to US$415.99. Conversely, pre-built models are available with 33% savings, which both feature 16 GB of RAM. At the time of publication, a 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage variant costs US$495.99, down from US$739. Similarly, Amazon is offering a 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage combination for US$505.99, almost a US$245 saving on its list price.
