The Tigers will try and treat their fans to a series win on Sunday, thanks to another solid pitching performance from the bullpen on Saturday. Detroit struck first in the opening inning, before going up by a pair in the fourth inning. The Twins were able to bounce back by tying the game in the top of the fifth. Javier Baez scored in the sixth, and the Tigers shut the door from then on, coming away with a 3-2 win.

Detroit ended up using six pitchers on Saturday night. Daniel Norris pitched a perfect sixth inning, before getting an out in the seventh, and was credited with his second win of the season. Eric Haase ended up going 3-4 with his 13th home run of the season. Baez was the only other Tiger credited with an RBI in the win.

Mark Contreras also went yard in the game, his third of the season, for the Twins. Luis Arraez, Nick Gordon and Gio Urshela each had two hits in the game, while Ronny Henriquez was handed the loss in relief of starter Dylan Bundy.

Thanks to the win, Detroit was able to stay a half-game up on the Kansas City Royals for fourth place in the American League Central.
