How to Watch the Detroit Lions vs. Indianapolis Colts – NFL Preseason | Channel, Stream, Preview

The second week of the NFL Preseason is underway, and the Detroit Lions will look to come out on the winning side of things after a tough loss last week, when they travel a little south for a meeting with the Indianapolis Colts.

Although they fell at home last Friday to the Atlanta Falcons, the Lions showed some positives in their first full-fledged contest. In the one series for the top offense, Detroit knifed their way through the Falcons’ defense, capped off by a nine-yard touchdown run from D’Andre Swift. Atlanta was able to win thanks to a late touchdown, beating the Lions 27-23. Former Purdue standout David Blough was arguably the Lions’ best player, throwing for 141 yards, and actually leading the team in rushing, going for 22 yards on four carries.

The Colts had a disappointing end to the 2021 season, falling less than a game short of a playoff berth. However, they will look to turn a corner in 2022, with some new faces. That includes longtime Falcons’ quarterback Matt Ryan leading the offense. In their 27-24 loss to the Buffalo Bills last weekend, Ryan went 6/10 for 58 yards in passing work, with No. 1 wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. grabbing two catches for 30 yards.
