The Montreal Canadiens couldn’t have received worse news. Canadiens’ supporters are in a dilemma after learning that goaltender Carey Price is hinting at retirement. He and his wife, Angela, have sold their Montreal home and relocated to British Columbia.
The sudden decision of the goaltender has worried fans as they expected to see more action from the NHL star. Carey Price’s knee ailment limited him to only five games for the Montreal Canadiens the year before. Although he may have physically recovered from the injury, the question remains about his career in the upcoming NHL seasons.

The City News on YouTube, reports that the athlete and his wife recently sold their Montreal house and relocated to British Columbia in order to be closer to their families. Fans were quick to take to the comment section to talk about the change.
A nostalgic fan expressed how much the NHL world loves Price, saying, “This is so unfortunate for him and the game. One of the rare players that is loved in every rink he walks into. I’ll always remember his performances in World Junior and the absolute spectacle he put on for his Olympic gold. What an incredible human being on so many levels.”
Another fan talked about how sad he was that he won’t be seeing Price lifting up a Stanley Cup, saying, “One of the worst tragedies is Carey never getting a Stanley Cup with the Montreal Canadiens. If there ever was a team to do it with, it would be them.”
