@PaigeSpiranac No disrespect but if anyone ever needs golf instruction then they should consult their local professional! Getting golf instruction off YouTube is like going to try to get advice about your sore foot from someone at the pub

Truth is most “local pros” aren’t very good and the great ones are $$$$. It’s the fun trend to shit on me but I’ve played at a high level and I’ve learned from the best. @PaigeSpiranac I’m not shitting on you. You do you! It is a bit disrespectful to say the most local pros aren’t very good don’t you think? You surely have to agree that to get the best “golf instruction” would be to get targeted golf instruction, one on one with a golf professional?

@PaigeSpiranac Wow. What a horrible take. Us “local pros” you’re shitting on are the ones out there everyday growing the game you benefit from. We are the ones teaching juniors, often with very little financial incentive.

@PaigeSpiranac Local pros are fantastic if you’re a double digit handicap. If you’re a scratch golfer looking to improve, a local pro is a complete waste of time.

@PaigeSpiranac If I remember right, they have to be able to average about a 76-77 during the play test. I think it’s like 15 strokes over double the course rating on 36 holes. If you’re a scratch golfer, you’re probably better than the local pro but some are great with lessons / people.
