Grant Williams on his final season with the Boston Celtics

Former Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams recently said that he looks back at his behavior early in his final Celtics season as being unprofessional and that he and Boston head coach Joe Mazzulla were close before professional disagreements last season, although he’ll always love his former Celtics jefe.

A recent Boston Globe interview came out as the Charlotte native’s first admission of tension between himself and Mazzulla began to spread as well, who put him on the bench for most of the second half of the 2022-23 NBA season before getting himself signed and traded to the Dallas Mavericks in free agency last week.

CLNS Media’s Bobby Manning recently sat down to talk about that interview, some reflection on the NBA’s 2023 Las Vegas summer League and Sin City Celtics star guard Jay Scrubb signing a two-way deal with Boston for the 2023-24 season ahead.
