‘google To Bring Latest Tech To Enhance State’s It Ecosystem’ | Kochi News

KOCHI: Google is committed to bringing the latest technologies for the enhancement of the IT ecosystem in Kerala, said Satyendra Khare, head of Strategic Partnerships, India and SAARC, Google. He was speaking to the media on the sidelines of God’s Own Conclave, a conclave for IT heads of major companies, held in the city on Saturday.
“Google is mainly focusing on banking financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector in Kerala, and the company is also committed to providing support to enterprises in their business operations,” Khare said. He added that the number of companies which adopt the Google Cloud in Kerala has grown manifold.
He also said that Google is providing support to companies in Kerala in various ways, including in their efforts to improve their business operations.
“We are trying to reach every corner of the country. We will extend support to enterprises in Kerala by providing training to people in developing mobile apps through simple methods like without any coding languages,” he said. adding that developers in Kerala can be made aware of how to use technology effectively through the training programs.
The conclave was organized by the CIO Association of India Kerala chapter with the support of around 20 leading brands, including iPlanet Enterprise, Apple, Jio Business, Google Cloud, Econz, Dell Technologies, StarOne IT, Airtel, HPE and Skylark.
Over 100 CIOs and around 20 major global technology leaders from across the industry attended the conclave, organized to provide a platform for IT heads of Kerala-based companies to interact with IT heads from other states and make Kerala a technology destination.
