Hitting with his three-wood, Patrick flushed his shot onto the green before watching it trickle into the hole.

He was so overjoyed at his unbelievable feat that he broke into tears.

“Oh that’s nice,” his dad can be heard saying in the vision.

“That’s right at it.

“Get in, get in, get in, get in, get in…”

Then he erupted into a fit of celebration and laughter, as did Patrick, before breaking down into tears.

“Well done,” his dad said.

“What a shot! You got a hole in one. That’s a hole in one. That’s amazing”.

Patrick spoke to 3AW about the moment, saying he was able to watch the ball trickle in from his high vantage point on the tee.

“I saw where the ball went, and I saw that it went in the hole,” Patrick said.

“I was playing with my dad. He screamed really loudly.

“We went for a raspberry lemonade (to celebrate)”.

Patrick and his dad play about once a week, and he says his dad has already had a hole-in-one of his own before.

He was quick to tell his mates at school, too.

“I’ve told all of them,” he said.

“One of them said ‘really good job, Patrick’. And then the others said ‘good job’ to me too”.
