Ever wanted to spend some koala-ty time with your local police?
Coolangatta Police are joining their local community to support Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Hospital at the Hospital’s Open Day event, this Saturday (July 23).
Local officers will be on-site with their Mobile Police Beat – their very own police station on wheels and look forward to chatting to attendees about any questions they have.
Officers will also be reminding all motorists to always be on the lookout for wildlife on our roads.
It’s important to always drive to the conditions, avoid speeding and keep an eye out for the unexpected to keep yourself and our wildlife critters safe on the road so that they can avoid ending up in wildlife hospitals.
Dingo know that you’re invited too?!
We hope to see you there – we’re looking forward to lending a paw as Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary celebrate this milestone of 75 years and their hospital open day.
If you come along, be sure to seek out the Mobile Police Beat and come and say G’Day.
