SAYBROOK – The Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley boys golf team won a quadrangular meet at Indian Springs Golf Course in Saybrook.
The Falcons shot a 178, beating Heyworth by three strokes.
Ryan Carley shot a 43 for GCMS as he finished third individually. Will Baillie (44), Getty Greer (45) and Alex Overman (46) each finished in the top six as well.
Carter Eichelberger and Zach Price shot a 47 and 48, respectively, for the Falcons.
For the GCMS junior varsity team, Shaun Hyatt shot a 66 while Gavin Martin shot a 67.
Buckley Christ Lutheran finished with a score of 236.
Gavin Spitz led the Crusaders with a score of 52 while Ethan Huse shot a 54, Gabriele Bohlmann shot a 63, Timothy Wyckoff shot a 67 and Kinley VanHoveln shot a 68.
On the girls’ side, GCMS was the lone squad with a team score as it finished with a score of 240.
Halie Heinz led all girls’ golfers with a score of 46 while Lizzie Giroux had a score of 59, Allison Spiller shot a 67 and Anna Warren shot a 68.
For the Christ Lutheran girls, Kaya Rayson finished with a score of 70.
