The “Field of Dreams” game has received lots of praise from baseball fans, but it isn’t just the major leagues that are holding it.

The minor leagues held its own iteration of the game on Tuesday when the Cedar Rapids Colonels squared off against the Quad Cities River Bandits in Iowa. One of those Colonels was former Auburn player Will Holland, who had three at-bats and a hit in his appearance in the Field of Dreams game.

With fall sports comes SEC soccer, and the Tigers’ soccer team is getting ready for their upcoming season with an exhibition tune-up match.

Auburn soccer defeated the Georgia Southern Eagles 4-1 in its first exhibition match of the year. The game had to be played in two parts, as it started on Monday but was put on hold due to weather when Auburn was up 2-0. Auburn managed 20 shots throughout the game to Georgia Southern’s four.
