For The Third Year In A Row, MLB HOF Voter Ron Cook Voted For……Nobody!

  • by

Ron Cook, everybody! I’ve already written this month about how the group of crumb bums who vote for the MLB HOF may be the most pompous assets we have ever come across. They love the smell of their own farts, they love to see their name plastered everywhere, they pump their chest out when they hear that Cal Ripken Jr. was 8 votes short of unanimous, they love to think of themselves as bigger than the game.

Ron Cook Loves the day he gets his ballot just so he can look it over, shake his head and seal it back up before he sends it in. This will be the third year in a row that he doesn’t vote for anyone. The 2 years before that? He only voted for Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera. Again, no one loves themselves and thinks they are more important to the game of baseball than Ron Cook. Take this guy’s vote away. Just take it away. You don’t use it? You don’t get one. I’d almost rather guys throw away a vote for someone as a favor instead of voting for no one. Both are stupid, but 3 years in a row of blank ballots is just insane.

I wrote this before too, but a blank ballot shouldn’t go against someone’s %. If you don’t vote in the Presidential election the candidates don’t get penalized and lose a vote, why does that happen here? It should get thrown out. I can understand having one year where you look at it and go “I’m not sure, no one on here looks qualified.” But 3 years in a row after only voting for 1 person each of the last 2? You’re a dick. It’s an embarrassing look for Cook and baseball.

Give a vote to someone who deserves it. Someone who respects the process and doesn’t treat it like a joke. Someone like this guy.
