What you need to know for Tuesday’s MLB Games

By Derek Carty

While he’s not exactly widely available, Marcus Stroman (64% rostered) is by far the top pitching streamer on Tuesday’s slate that has a reasonable chance of being available in your league. He faces a Washington Nationals offense that is now without Juan Soto and Josh Bell, and he gets a bit of Wrigley wind blowing in

Tommy Henry (less than 1%) and James Kaprielian (5%) are your best bets if Stroman isn’t available, especially since both ought to be out there in your league. Henry gets a weak Pirates offense, and Kaprielian faces the strikeout-heavy Angels.

The Royals and White Sox play a double-header today, which means elite value for all the double-volume guys. Yoan Moncada (47%) is the best bet from Chicago, with AJ Pollock (18%) and Josh Harrison (3%) also possibilities. On the Royals side, Hunter Dozier (16%) is your best bet, with Vinnie Pasquantino (5%) and Michael Taylor (sub-1%) also potentially in play.

We’ve got the Cardinals in Coors, the Braves in Fenway, and 90+ degrees in Baltimore and Philadelphia, giving us several 5+ run offenses to stream from today. The top is definitely St. Louis, though, and you can find Tyler O’Neill (64%), Dylan Carlson (58%), Nolan Gorman (15%), Brendan Donovan (15%), Yadier Molina (9%), and Paul DeJong (2 %) available on many waiver wires.

If you’re looking to shore up your ratios, streaming relievers can be a valuable approach. Far and away the best matchups today exist in Oakland. It’s an elite pitchers’ park and the only game under 70 degrees. And both teams have saves up for grabs, so you may even wind up nabbing one. Jose Quijada (sub-1%) is the guy to target for LA, while AJ Puk (7%), Zach Jackson (5%), and Kirby Snead (sub-1%) are all viable from Oakland.
