The 2023 NFL draft takes place at 8 pm April 27 (Round 1), 7 pm April 28 (Rounds 2-3) and noon April 29 (Rounds 4-7).
The Detroit Lions have two picks in the first round — No. 6 and no. 18 — to open up what many consider to be one of the most anticipated Lions drafts in recent memory. The team won eight of its final 10 games in 2022 to finish 9-8, a six-win improvement from 2021, and is coming off a busy free agency period in which it addressed a lot of its weaknesses, especially on defense.

Now the Lions look to keep improving through the draft. They have nine picks in all, although that could change if they choose to make any trades.
