Leaders of Dong Nai Customs Department and Dong Nai Port cutting the ribbon to put into operation the mobile container scanner machine
Director of Dong Nai Customs Department Phung Thi Bich Huong said, basing on daily average, Customs Department handles administrative procedures of over 5,000 customs declarations and clears over 75,000 tons of im-export goods, meeting the needs of business and goods im-export for production more than 4,000 enterprises, including nearly 1.3 thousand foreign-invested enterprises that have been operating in Dong Nai Province.
In order to meet the needs of smoothly goods clearance, Dong Nai Customs Department was equipped, assigned and operated the M60 mobile container scanner machine by the General of Customs Department to be installed at Long Binh Tan Port, under the management of the Branch of Customs Department located at Dong Nai Port, creating more facility for import-export activities, completing customs procedures in a digital environment combined with a modern equipment system.

The mobile container scanner machine can be moved to all im-export goods location needed customs clearance as per required. With a screening capacity of 25 containers/hour, it can scan goods in many different modes of transport: containers, trucks, retail goods in bales etc… Thereby, customs clearance’s time can be shortened, helping enterprises save costs of loading and unloading, opening and closing containers, as well as promoting the development of logistics service supply chains at Dong Nai Port
