DKV Mobility adds 100 VARO stations to the mobile payment network

Users of the APP&GO service of the company’s app can now refuel at more locations from another fuel retail brand in the Netherlands without the need for cash.

DKV Mobility’s customers are now able to use the DKV APP&GO payment function of the company’s app to refuel at 100 VARO Energy Retail stations in the Netherlands. The brand will offer drivers a cashless experience at new sites to benefit from this service.

“We are very pleased that our mobile payment network is continuously growing. We give thanks to VARO Energy Retail for their cooperation. This means a significant increase of our mobile payment acceptance points in the Netherlands,” said Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility.

DKV Mobility’s entire mobile payment acceptance network has now grown to a total of 2,000 fuel stations across Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. The latest addition to the firm’s network consisted of 84 Q8 service stations in Spain, after connecting sites from REPSOL and CEPSA.

“In the past years, DKV Mobility has been a steady partner for us on the Dutch market. This partnership has been expanded in the past year by opening up our entire network to the DKV fuel card. Because we believe in this way of paying, it is a logical step to extend the cooperation,” added Arend Nieboer, Manager Cards of VARO Energy Retail.

With the APP&GO service drivers can choose a fuel station in their area, look for an available pump and start the fuel transaction. By using Mobile Payment, customers can settle the bill conveniently from their vehicle, receive their digital receipt afterwards and drive off without delay.
