The Devils have signed a forward Tomas Nosek to a one-year, one-way deal, executive vice president and general manager Tom Fitzgerald announced Wednesday.

Nosek tallied 18 points (seven goals, 11 assists) in 66 games with the Boston Bruins during the 2022-23 NHL season. The 30-year-old forward had 48 penalty minutes and finished with a nine plus-minus while averaging 12:33 minutes of ice time per game.

The deal with New Jersey is worth $1 million for the upcoming season.

Nosek played the past two seasons with Boston after a four-year stint with the Vegas Golden Knights and a two-year stint to begin his NHL career with the Detroit Red Wings.

In 398 career regular-season games, the six-foot-three forward has 42 goals and 59 assists and a minus-2 plus-minus with 146 penalty minutes and an average time on ice of 12:13. Nosek has a 54.7 percent faceoff win percentage in 2362 attempts.

He played in all seven of Boston’s first-round matchups with the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, tallying two assists and an even plus-minus in 11:56 of ice time.

Nosek has six goals and four assists in 38 career postseason games, including scoring the game-winner in a two-goal performance in Game 1 of the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals against the Washington Capitals.
