Davis Lee is nothing if not consistent this week.
The University of North Florida senior and Ponte Vedra High graduate birdied the final hole of the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club for the second day in a row for his second 69 in a row on Tuesday to come within three shots of the individual lead in the NCAA Norman, Okla., Regional.
Lee (6-under 138) is tied for fourth with Hugo Townsend (69) of Ole Miss. Ludvig Abert of Texas Tech (68) leads at 9-under, followed by Drew Goodman of Oklahoma (70) at 8-under and Nick Dunlap of Alabama (71) at 7-under.

UNF junior Nick Gabrelcik (69) is tied for 18th at 2-under 142, after making birdie on two of his last four holes. Lance Yates (70) and Robbie Higgins (74) are tied for 33rd and Cody Carroll (73) is tied for 46th at 2-over.
The Ospreys are in fifth place entering Wednesday’s final round at 10-under, five shots behind leader Alabama and two clear of sixth-place Duke. The top-five teams in the six regionals advance to the NCAA Championship May 26-31 at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
If UNF advances, it will be its second trip in a row as one of the final 30 teams in the nation and their fourth in the last six years.
