Cricket Australia vs Zimbabwe, live scores, second ODI stream, start time, teams, how to watch, updates in Townsville

Australia will be forced into at least one change for the second ODI against Zimbabwe (9.40am AEST) after Mitch Marsh was ruled out with a minor ankle injury.

The hosts dominated the first match on Sunday, restricting Zimbabwe to 200 before chasing down the total with 99 balls and five wickets remaining.

Australia now needs just one more win in the three-match series in Townsville to make it a successful start to the season, but may need to shuffle the deck for game two without Marsh.

Marsh has been replaced in the squad by wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis, but it’s unclear who will take the all-rounder’s spot in the XI.

Australia was all-rounder heavy in the first match with Marsh, Cameron Green, Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell making it a quartet of all-rounders.

With Marsh absent, Australia will now need to reconsider the make-up of its XI.

There is no like-for-like swap for Marsh in the squad — Ashton Agar and Sean Abbott are the only other all-rounders on the sideline, albeit stronger bowling options than batting.

Australia could also opt to add a specialist batter, such as Marnus Labuschagne or Inglis, and look for some overs out of Marcus Stoinis who didn’t bowl on Sunday.
