FULLERTON, Calif. — Texas Tech goalkeeper Madison White recorded a shutout, but the Red Raiders had to settle for a scoreless tie against Fullerton State despite getting off more than twice as many shots as the Titans.
Tech had advantages of 12-5 in shots and 5-3 in shots on goal, but couldn’t get anything past Fullerton goalkeeper Mia Ranson. Tech’s Gisselle Kozarski had team highs of five shots and three on goal. Macy Schultz took four shots and Charlotte Teeter three, each putting one on goal.
Both teams are 1-1-2.
Tech has started the season with four low-scoring affairs: a 2-0 win against Troy, a 1-0 loss to Arizona and a 1-1 draw with New Mexico, all at home before Saturday’s road opener.
