The Yellow Jackets put up a strong fight against the Tigers in Death Valley last Sept. 18, falling 14-8 while easily cashing as 27.5-point underdogs as the Under cashed. Georgia Tech didn’t win, but put up a much better effort after getting crushed 73-7 in Atlanta in October 2020.
Monday’s meeting is the 88th between the schools. Clemson has won 7 in a row and 9 of the last 10, but Georgia Tech leads the all-time series 51-34-2.

Clemson (-2000) will cost you 20 times your potential return, and that’s just too much risk for not enough reward. Over the course of a season, that’s a losing betting strategy picking heavy favorites.

Against the spread
GEORGIA TECH +23.5 (-110) will be playing just a few miles from campus, so it could be argued that this is essentially a home game. But 1, that didn’t make much difference in 2020 when Clemson won by 66 at Bobby Dodd. And 2, Clemson’s campus is a short ride down I-85 to Atlanta, so there will be plenty of orange-clad fans at full throat.
The Yellow Jackets are the play here, though, as the Tigers offense struggled last season. Georgia Tech’s D held Clemson to just 14 points on its home field. While QB DJ Uiagalelei should be much better in his 2nd full season, the Yellow Jackets are no longer the pushover they used to be. Look for Georgia Tech to at least hang around and keep it within 3 TDs.
Over/Under
OVER 50.5 (-117) is worth playing lightly.
We saw the Under cash in last season’s meeting at Death Valley, but the Over hit in Atlanta in 2020. The Over is also 5-2 in the last 7 ACC games for the Yellow Jackets, too. This won’t be a track meet, but it also won’t be a defensive slog like last year’s battle, either.
