Arsenal travel to Chelsea in a huge London derby on Sunday, and there are coverage plans available for those in the United States.
Mikel Arteta is taking his charge to Stamford Bridge as the favorite. This is rare for the Gunners who have endured some rank humiliations against the Blues.
Arsenal sit atop the Premier League table after a tremendous start to the campaign. Gabriel Jesus has revolutionized their forward line. Meanwhile, Chelsea have changed coach already this term and sit in sixth place.
Graham Potter’s start to life at the Bridge has been positive. His brand of attacking football within a fluid 3-1-4-2 formation has translated to Chelsea’s squad, with results being generally positive.
However, a reality check was given in the form of a 4-1 hiding from Potter’s former club Brighton and this has truly shaken the confidence at Stamford Bridge.

This game is the earliest possible start time for a Premier League game. With it being so early, there is no pregame coverage on USA Network before the game. Also, the games following this London clash happen at 9 in the morning. Therefore, there is practically no time for coverage. Instead, USA Network jumps straight into the next game on its schedule, West Ham vs Crystal Palace.
Comparing Chelsea and Arsenal’s recent form
Chelsea will need to identify where things went wrong against Brighton. Defensively they made mistakes against a very motivated opponent.
Prior to that setback, their form was sensational. Since Potter’s arrival, Chelsea have lost just once. Recent victories against Crystal Palace, Wolves and Aston Villa, are helping Chelsea shoot up the table.
After this run of wins, the Blues drew back-to-back games with Brentford and Manchester United. So, the cynic would point towards the Blues failing to win in three Premier League games.
Arsenal have had to deal with their own setbacks of late. A 1-1 draw to Southampton on October 23 was a surprise. However, aside from that they have recorded impressive victories against Leeds United and Nottingham Forest. Finally, they have won five of their last six Premier League matches.
Predicted line-ups
Chelsea will be without three key players on Sunday. N’Golo Kante, Reece James and Wesley Fofana all remain on the treatment table.
The Gunners have similar concerns. Mohamed Elneny and Emile Smith-Rowe are doubts. The Egyptian returned to training on Wednesday.
Oleksandr Zinchenko has been out since late September, but will return to the pitch after training this week.
Concern over a possible World Cup-ending injury to Bukayo Saka was short-lived. The English forward is back training and will play against Chelsea. In addition, issues over his treatment have been raised by the Gunners.
Chelsea’s predicted starting XI (3-4-1-2): Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, Koulibaly, Jorginho, Kovacic, Cucurella, Mount, Gallagher, Aubameyang, Sterling
Arsenal’s predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Xhaka, Partey, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Jesus
