Bulls star Zach LaVine endorses Sixers’ Joel Embiid to win MVP in 2023

Philadelphia 76ers star big man Joel Embiid once again finds himself in the thick of the MVP race. The big fella is having another unbelievable season as he’s averaging 33.6 points to lead the league, 10.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists while shooting 54.6% from the floor.

He is in the running for the MVP award as he is battling Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic again. While Jokic is having another worthy season out in the Mile High City, it might be time for Embiid to finally get his flowers.

Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine told KC Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago that Embiid should win it:

“I think he should’ve won one already,” LaVine said of Embiid. “I think Jokić has been incredible too. He’s won back-to-back MVPs, so you don’t take anything away from him. Obviously, Giannis is incredible. But I think Embiid has it wrapped up this year in my opinion. He’s that good.”

LaVine has a good point. He points out that Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo are incredible and they deserve the credit they have received, but Embiid has just been on another level. He has scored 30+ in 10 straight games and he has been virtually unstoppable out on the floor.
