Bronny James is obviously already drawing plenty of attention in the basketball world because of his last name. But the 18-year-old is living up to the hype too.

James put on a show in the Border League in Vegas on Saturday, scoring 31 points for California Basketball Club in a 82-66 win over LV Orange.

It was a particularly efficient shooting night for James, who was 11-of-13 from the field, including 6-of-7 from deep, while he also slammed home a vicious dunk on a fastbreak.

He earned praise from LeBron, who was not afraid to put the spotlight on his son, writing: “He’s really HIM Keeping working Young (king emoji)!!”.

Former NBA player John Jenkins, meanwhile, told The Los Angeles Times that James’ feeling is “ridiculous”.

“Patient. Poised. If he’s shooting like that, he has a real chance, for sure,” he added.

NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas, meanwhile, tweeted: “Bronny is cold!! I have been telling y’all. He plays hoop the RIGHT way!!!”

It is not just on the court where Bronny is making moves. He has also already become part of Nike’s marketing for its newest sneaker, the Nike LeBron 20.

LeBron signed a lifetime Nike deal in 2015 after working with the shoemaker since his own days as an 18-year-old prep prospect.

James has said that one day he hopes to play alongside his son in the NBA. Bronny inked an NIL deal — for name, image and likeness rights — along with four other young basketball guards.
