New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers could rack up $2 million total in incentives in 2023 and 2024, assuming he’s able to stay on the field consistently.
The 33rd Team’s Ari Meirov listed the veteran defensive back’s contract incentives, which are heavily dependent on snap count. Here’s how the numbers break down in both years:

40% of defensive snaps – $200,000

It might not be easy staying on the field with Adrian Phillips, Jalen Mills, Joshuah Bledsoe and rookie third-round draft pick Marte Mapu all battling it out to play alongside Kyle Dugger at safety.
Yet, there’s reason to hope for Peppers after the spring practices.
Coach Bill Belichick seemed more impressed than usual when talking up Peppers’ offseason improvements with the media at mandatory minicamp this week.
“Oh yeah. Oh my God. Yes. Totally is a much different player…” Belichick said. via ESPN’s Mike Reiss.
Those improvements could carry Peppers to the Promised Land to the tune of an extra $2 million on top of his two-year, $9 million deal with New England.
