We’ve got nine NBA games on tap this Saturday meaning the prop market is brimming with opportunity.
The pregame narrative: Tyrese Maxey should have his way against a lackluster Spurs team while Domantas Sabonis and Luka Doncic are poised to stuff the score sheet.

NBA prop picks
[Best Bet] : Tyrese Maxey over 19.5 points (-104)
The Sixers are off to a tough start, but we expect Maxey to lead the charge tonight.
He eclipsed this total on opening night with 21 points but followed that up with a 15-point performance on Thursday. Maxey established himself as a player that can score into the 30s last season and the Spurs provided a strong opportunity for him to do just that.
San Antonio has not defended well so far, allowing 129 and 134 points in its first two games. A good amount of those buckets are coming from the guard position.
In San Antonio’s season opener, Terry Rozier had a 24-point outing on 52% shooting. Last night, Tyrese Haliburton dropped 27 points while rookie Benedict Mathurin put up 26 of his own.
Gregg Popovich’s squad is also playing on the second night of a back-to-back while the Sixers have had a day of rest in between.
Getting to 20 points shouldn’t be a problem against this defense. Minutes aren’t an issue either as Maxey had ample opportunities in both games played, logging 34 and 38 minutes respectively. Expect the third-year guard out of Kentucky to make noise tonight.
Key stat: The Spurs’ 124.3 points allowed per 100 possessions are the most so far.
Quick picks
Sabonis over 35.5 points + rebounds + assists (-104): Sabonis’ season opener against the Portland Trail Blazers was underwhelming. The big man attempted just 10 shots putting up 13 points to go along with four rebounds and five assists.
We’re expecting much more out of him tonight against the LA Clippers. Sabonis has gone over this line in two of his last three regular-season games and is typically far more active on the glass.
He recorded 10-plus rebounds in 12 of his last 15 games and had 18-plus points in seven of those contests.
Doncic to record a double-double (-136): This play is accompanied by a decent amount of juice, but we’re happy to bet it. Doncic came one rebound shy of a 35-point double-double in Dallas’ opener but looked fantastic otherwise.
Doncic’s 44 double-doubles last year were tied for the seventh-most in basketball. He also netted that in just 65 games, which means this prop hit at a 67.7% clip.
Look for Luka to be involved against a Grizzlies team that’s allowed 122 and 112 points in each of their games so far.
